Reds in SC 8/18

Took my 10 year old son and nephew yesterday to my secret spot and came back a little disappointed. I caught the only fish - a 9" red on a 3" gulp shrimp! I would never think that a fish that small would hit something 1/3 it's own size, but it did. The gulp was down his throat when I got him to the boat.

Released to gain some girth.

I'm blaming this one on the weather - we got rained on for about 2 hours.
